The theme for our 2015 International Day is World Food Security.
Following a presentation by Mr. Boliko from the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation on 23rd January, you will have an opportunity to conduct an inquiry of your own into this topic.
As you get started, here is something to think about: "Food Security is the state in which all people at all times have access to enough safe and nutritious food to lead a healthy and productive life. Unfortunately, many people are not food secure yet. Currently 1 billion people go hungry every day. Hunger makes people weak, unwell, and makes it harder to concentrate, study, and work."
